Hewlett-Packard's automatic sheet-feed 7550 Plus plotter handles heavygraphics workloads from high-volume individual users or multi-userdepartments. The 7550 Plus color desktop plotter provides fast A4/A-and A3/B-size color graphics for both business and technicalapplications. The HP 7550A Plus' unsurpassed 6g acceleration and fastpen speed mean shorter plotting time. It draws in any direction at80.0cm per second (31/5 inch per second) and letters at approximatelyeight to 10 characters per second, depending on character size. Withautomatic sheet feed capability for up to 150 sheets of regular paper or100 sheets of overhead transparency film, the 7550 Plus is ideal forunattended plotting or multiple color copies.The eight-pen carousel allows a variety of pen colors and tip widths tobe loaded at one time, and the plotter caps the pens to keep the inkfresh. The 7550 Plus desktop plotter automatically senses the carouseltype loaded and sets the optimal pen force and speed. The plotter alsosenses the paper size and sets the plot margins accordingly. Configuringthe plotter, changing plotting area, rotating drawings 90 degrees, andaligning graphs to preprinted forms and grids can all be done from thefront panel.
